Holly Baxter Bridgers
is a third-generation co-owner of Baxter Burial Vault Service in Cincinnati and their sister company, Bell Vault & Monument Company in Dayton. Holly loves working together with her two brothers, Darren and Trevor Baxter, especially since put up with their big sister so well! A hi ghlight for all 3 of them last year was receiving one of the Goering Center’s Family & Private Business Awards. The family business requires many hats, but Holly’s favorite job is empowering her co-workers through training on leadership and emotional intelligence.
The business cares deeply about giving back beyond their service to funeral homes and cemeteries. They regularly support the Trevor Project, SNAP, Special Olympics, Ronald McDonald House, Meals on Wheels, La Soup, Freestore Foodbank, Shoes for the Shoeless, LeMasters Coat Drive, Crayons to Computers, Madi’s House, The Victorian at Riverside, SPCA, the National Parks Foundation, Hospice of Cincinnati, Fernside-A Center for Grieving Children of which Holly is a former Board member, and Project Yoga.
Holly is a Deepak Chopra certified Primordial Sound Meditation Teacher and enjoys Yin Yoga. She had the wonderful experience of filling in as a “helper” at one of the schools served by Project Yoga where she had weekly interaction with first graders as they learned yoga poses and simple meditation.Being a kid at heart, Holly also loves Lego!
A year and a half ago, Holly rekindled her childhood passion for dance by joining Groove Crew of Greater Cincinnati. The dance team performs in parades dressed in tutus, sparkles, and everything happy and bright. She is following in the footsteps of her mother, Barbara Baxter, who was in many parades with her all-girl Ukulele band! Being self-aware of her lack of musical talent, has stuck strictly with the dancing.
Holly is a proud mother of two young-adults, Georgia and Hope Bridgers. They inspire her every day and every way, especially with their interaction in the LGBTQ+ community! Georgia is an influencer in Los Angeles and Hope is an Industrial Design student at Univ of Cincinnati-DAAP. Holly feels honored when they occasionally allow her to be featured in or photo bomb their social media posts!
