Meghan Glynn leads Calfee Strategic Solutions, a public relations and government affairs firm that specializes in providing serious communications to support sensitive events in the life of a company or organization. Calfee Strategic Solutions, a subsidiary of the law firm of Calfee, Halter & Griswold LLP, complements Calfee’s legal services with timely communication and plans for complex issues, including mergers, acquisitions, labor, environmental, regulatory and legislative issues. Clients include Fortune 500 companies, privately-held firms, government agencies and non-profit organizations in an array of industries.
With 20 years in public relations leadership roles, Meghan’s experience includes serving as chief spokesperson for the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG), The Kroger Co., Delta Air Lines in Atlanta, Georgia, and Comair. She has developed and directed corporate communications and governmental affairs programs for incidents involving multiple fatalities, national food safety issues, lengthy labor negotiations, mergers and acquisitions, and large-scale employee reductions. She started her career as a business reporter for the Cincinnati Enquirer.
Meghan serves on the board of the Prichard Committee for Academic Excellence in Kentucky, a national leader in education reform, and volunteers as a coach and judge with the Kentucky Association for Academic Competition. She is a graduate of Leadership Cincinnati. She and her husband Rory live in Taylor Mill with their four children.
The Spirit of CVG, is an established non-profit that supports employees of the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport (CVG) and their families as they work through serious, unplanned challenges. The Spirit of CVG steps in to help when other resources are not available. Funds raised through the Spirit of CVG have helped support longtime employees faced with terminal illnesses, young employees and their families navigate unexpected children’s health issues, and other airport employees with life-altering challenges. As a community, we count on CVG employees to lift us as we travel for business and pleasure. The Spirit of CVG is one way we can lift our own when they need help most.
