Dana Cummin is Director of Sales at Rhinegeist Brewery. Born in Dayton, Ohio, Dana grew up on 11 acres in Miamisburg/Kettering with her parents, grandmother, sister, and their army of cats. She received her bachelor’s degree in Middle Childhood Education in 2009, and spent several years working as an educator before joining the Rhinegeist team in 2013, making her one of Rhinegeist’s senior team members. Dana currently manages two of Rhinegeist’s largest distribution footprints, Cincinnati and Columbus.
In addition to being named the 2022’s 23rd largest craft brewery by volume in the U.S., according to the Brewers Association, Rhinegeist believes in the power of craft to bring people together and build a lasting community, partnering with over 300 nonprofits each year with focuses ranging from entrepreneurship training, eliminating food insecurity, environmental initiatives, sustainability, and more. Dana brings her decade of experience in the craft beer industry to these partnerships, and her enthusiasm and affable quirk are contagious.
Dana lives in Pleasant Ridge with her husband Sam Pellerito (Founder of CinSoy Foods), and their son Pete (who sports a competition-level mullet). Dana is a Harry Potter superfan, is sneakily good at butterfly knife tricks, loves to travel, and will never say no to a happy hour. Dana would like to dedicate this dance to her late granny, who shared her love for volunteer work and had a passion for dance (especially swing).
