As a lifelong Cincinnatian, Rocky has dedicated his career to public service.
He currently serves as the Director of Communications for the City of Cincinnati. In this role he works to enhance transparency in government through strong relationships with the general public, media, civic and business organizations and city staff.
Previously, he served as the Public Information Officer/Community Relations Manager for the Cincinnati Health Department where his responsibilities included coordinating the external and internal communications of the Cincinnati Board of Health and the Cincinnati Health Department, which has a budget of $40 million and over 400 employees.
Rocky also served as Chief of Staff for Cincinnati’s late Vice Mayor David Crowley and in multiple capacities for other local elected officials and campaigns. He attended graduated Roger Bacon High School and received a Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) from Xavier University where he received a theater scholarship and took the stage in multiple productions.
Rocky, his wife and two children are longtime residents of the Pleasant Ridge neighborhood of Cincinnati.
